And that’s what they’re here for, kids like Elisa, Richie, Florian, Daniel … They’ve left the cold, gray North behind for fun and adventure on a Mediterranean island. Elisa: rich, spoiled, fleeing from daddy and his stifling upper-class morals. Richie: the sexy drifter for whom every woman is a potential meal ticket; Florian: sensitive, gentle, the type not only girls gravitate to. Daniel: stuck between adolescence and small-mindedness. But even in paradise there are some dark corners that never get any sun. Im Gepäck aber haben sie ihre Ängste, Fragen und Sehnsüchte. Auf der Insel werden sie umspült von einem Meer an Möglichkeiten und sind doch orientierungslos. Sie erwarten die große Veränderung, wie ein Geschenk, müssen am Ende aber doch selbst entscheiden, wohin ihre Reise geht.
Altbekannte Probleme auf dem Weg ins Leben, die doch immer wieder neu erzählt werden müssen. Das ist der Lauf der Dinge.
